Red Poppy
8x8 Oil on Canvas Hardboard NFS I should explain why this one is not for sale. Almost before it could dry my daughter Amy snatched it up for her kitchen I have to admit I like it when she wants my paintings because she is a very picky decorator.
I feel, like Renoir........
"to breathe is to paint"
Since receiving my degree in Fine Arts in 1981, I have maintained a working studio, where I paint daily, teach classes three days a week, and market my paintings. I love
teaching, have to market my work, but
I live for the part of each day when I can paint. Sometimes "life" interfers, but when I do begin to paint...all worries or problems disappear. What is most important as a
painter is simply the process of doing it. If I sell the work, I am happy but just love the act of painting.
